Yes it will be oversubscribed as the date for closing of the SPP is 14 Jan I think. The price will be around $2.50 by then I would guess because of the impressive off take announcements and Buldania upgrade to come, most likely by then. This has all been brilliantly planned by the BOD. Yesterday I wondered whether the AFR report of the funding was planted or part of a plan by others to pressure LTR. Well since the AFR article we see that it was 100% accurate, the TH came the next morning with a very clearly set out plan which obviously took months to put together. There was no leak, it was a deliberate plan by LTR to gain maximum press exposure and that is what we have seen. Although I am now in Canada the news on LTR is everywhere. Well done again LTR.
Brilliant also is the funding being secured before the off takes. Now LTR will tell the customers what they will get and pay, and not the other way around.
The news about drilling KV and Buldania and other areas to find more lithium is now appearing in announcements. I have no doubt that by the time they have finished this process, LTR will be the best and biggest hard rock miner in the world, bar none. It is arguably already that now. With Greenbushes reaching its use by date in about 10 years there is no other real competition. TO and TG knows this and they are promoting this to prospective off takers, financiers and investors.
Some people here used to laugh at @cashhound and his $10 plus SP. Well no more do they laugh, they buy or weep. Cashhound knew the big picture world story combined with the quality management and saw it a long time ago. Well done to him. The news has also brought

I still see some negative posters trying to warn "newbies" of what might happen here. That is just amazing how facts can be turned to promote negative sentiments. Everyone should acknowledge just how spectacular LTR and its future is. A future lithium FMG combined with Wesfarmers' techincal and chemical abilities. Don't write off the take over either. As
@anatol has said the only reason why BHP does not have a go at LTR is because it is a dinosaur but dinosaurs can rise. If they do have a go the price is now much much higher. The company is also now a guaranteed success and so the price should be much higher. I love the way TO has taken to this venture without the contraints of working for BHP and with the full support of TG and the Board. It shows why smaller companies can succeed where a BHP or RIO could not. This may also be the key and perhaps BHP is not concerned about the price, they just want it developed even further by TO and the LTR Board before they lob a huge price. Either way we should all be happy and grateful. An LTR only comes along once in an investor's lifetime. I will never sell it unless I have no other choice.
Finally, as a LT investor I am not a price picker, but I do query why the price will drop too much today. The usual paradigm of a share dropping towards its CR price may not apply here. There will be many instos and investors wanting a piece of this future money making machine which is pinned to the future of saving the world's climate. If it does drop a lot I would be very surprised. if it went up and broke $2 today or by the end of the week I would not be surprised. This may the last real chance for big investors to get into LTR below $2. Those that are thinking a big drop are thinking like small retail traders. LTR is not quite blue chip but not far off. The CR price is done and behind us, it is the future that will dominant the investment decisions of investors now because we are derisked. The LTR timing has again been impeccable. They even sidestepped the Omicron market reaction without a blip it seems and the DOW is up today. The SPP will be fully subscribed obviously and should be. it is a another reward (like MI6 was) for loyal shareholders. The close date of mid Jan tells you that. What a share this is.
