Anyone have thoughts on these graphs? I find to believe that over 50% of Australian coal mines are running at a higher cost than Curragh (which is losing money). Surely the mines that sold for $1 in the last downturn don’t have that deeper pockets?
If it is accurate, you’d have to think closures and then benchmark price improvements can’t be far off?
