I've never received a receipt or notification when taking part in a SPP (via BPay which is the only way I've ever done it) for a company listed on the ASX. They really should do that. You only know you're successful when the shares hit your trading account.
They will generally hit your registry account first (If you ever bother to look at those), and then work their way into your on-line trading account. Take note, they always seem a bit slower (about 12 hours generally) with Comsec if that's who you trade with. Not sure why but that's been the case in many share raises I've seen.
I've always received my full allocation, though if the SPP is oversubscribed you'll get an electronic refund. I have difficulties imagining the SPP will be over subscribed (I could be wrong), because there is no upper limit set, just a target of $20 million.
