The alternative is that WPL believe 99.99% that they have a rock solid case and that FAR are just rent seeking.
In that case why would WPL cut a deal like you proposed if they are very very sure of their case.
SNE is not make or break for WPL, it represents somewhere around 3-5% of WPL's value.
Heck if WPL lost SNE but the POO went up the same day then the shareprice of WPL might still end up in the green that day.
