I haven't met Denis Wood or know much about him but from what I have gleaned I am not sure that he is ready for the old rocking chair just yet. In his present role and in an attempt in my view to cut costs he does a lot more now that he might have to do as Chairman of an operating mine that can pay for qualified support staff. That would be scenario that might suit his wind down years. We will see.
