Santos are in no position to launch a takeover imo. They have ongoing negotations with potential buyers and other parties. I think it's all getting a bit much for them.
I'm hoping an asian company takes a large stake today. $100m is a huge amount to raise in one day so I get the feeling there is already a number of parties interested in accquiring a large stake. Ideally BG and Kogas buy in. Our boy Sadler starting to show his worth.
