The $2500 oz pit shell design is over 300m in depth.
That is an incredible depth relative to other open pits at Mt Magnet. From memory, the deeper ones reach 200m.
Its reflective obviously of the ore body/structure. And Eridanus is different to the others.
well done to the geo team that persisted with Eridanus, given that it is relatively unusual. Years ago when they were rexploring the basin I had my doubts and happy to be corrected.
