DFAT still classes Eritrea as a dangerous destination, but Mr Hughes has travelled there a couple of times now and has nothing but positive things to say about the government and its people.The government is very positive about this project. They (the government) are trying to encourage foreign investment to get their economy moving. Alot of the government ministers are ex military, very much for the country, very patriotic. Copped bad name as they kicked the UN out, but I think there is a whole other story there. I know the South Boulder guys have found the country and its people to be very friendly and are eager to get things happening. Don't forget that Sub-sahara have been there for many years, as far as I know a pretty smooth stay, please correct me if i am wrong. The Minister of Mines will be in Perth around the 4/5th September for the Africa Conference to get the word out that they are open to opportunities.
