Not at the rate of battery development. Technology advancements will wipe out the lithium sector. Only need one new battery to come on market and you’re dead.
People also don’t understand that unlike fossil fuels where molecules get burned and destroyed, lithium in batteries can be recycled. The atoms never get destroyed. So once an efficient recycle of batteries is developed, this will also put downward pressure on producers.
