I read it as good news to have gas shows in a secondary target. It's more of a measurement issue, not a reservoir quality issue (from my reading). And the joint venture wouldn't agree to run production casing unless they saw some upside in this zone.
With a hole this deep, it's just a relief to get to the main target.
