Have you looked into their remuneration report and what KPIs do they need to issue those options? If the hurdle rate and the strike price for those options are low then that's a red flag for me.
Management can easily set the bar low (e.g.: increase EPS by 10%) and get those options at a very low strike price (Strike at current prices for 5-10 years).
