Be interesting t0o see what that would do to the DVP SP, and subsequent post TO value of the ESS shares - I am not sure simple maths would do it if everyone jumped on board with that plan.
Plus, everyone who did would lose their CGT discounts and start the clock again, for some that would be a loss on the deal.
Nice idea, and correct on paper, but IMO would not work in reality unfortunately.
