    Yes, a bird in the hand is definitely worth 2 in the bush. Is it worth 10 in the bush though?

    Another important consideration is capital gains tax. Anyone who has topped up in the last 9 months will be paying full CGT on their profits. I topped up last month at 30.5c. Being forced to sell at 50c would result in a nice gain but half of it would go to the ATO. Personally I'd prefer to hold on for a couple of years and get my 50c back every year as a franked dividend.
