Incorrect.
It's Structured funding - Banks provide the top tranche and major of the lend i.e. 80%. Then over investors come in and provide the lower tranches at higher rates given they 'lose money' first. Most would also request seller/Plenti in this case to have a seller note which they take any first losses.
