thanx. I thought that may be the case… and luckily my SMSF IS in Pension Phase. I will transfer my WIC across to WAM (and the ratio favouring WIC seems to be improving) to get the generous FF div from WAM. I have approx 90k WIC shares and at a ratio of approx .7. Will end up with far more WAM that I want. The fully franked div from WAM will benefit my SMSF with the Franking credits and I will have to do some research on how WAM holds up ex div. I am favouring one of the LICs specialising in resources that one of our forum members suggested, as home to at least some of the funds. This year is the last year that the compulsory withdrawal from your SMSF has been halved, so I will have to test and adjust (even tho I don’t need the proceeds of my SMSF withdrawal) and find a home for it in my own name. In this climate, that may be harder than you think ! Thanks.
