im looking at buying stocks for their stable YIELD, can this company be classified as a serious investment? or is the market cap and history just not good enough at the moment? does anyone here have a large % of their holdings in this? is the company stable? how likely is it to go belly up? or to ever slash their divvy if this go bad?
thats why im avoiding the likes of BHP and woodside as some yrs their divvy is great the next yr their divvy is slashed, i dont like that, thats like a tech stock, im looking for decent stable yield, not something that divvy goes up 50% one yr and gets slashed 30% the next yr.
you cant budget or plan with swings like that.
