My reading of what has happened is that the good technical signals led to the initial start of the buying surge, and that surge in turn led to a lot of folks jumping on the bandwagon expecting some sort of miracle announcement (the one we got was pretty good, just can't please some people).
Those that were in for the technicals are still in, the blind followers paniced and jumped ship when the announcement wasn't that they'd somehow bypassed all trials and were selling tomorrow, and we'll now continue to trend up for a bit based on the technicals as well as some fundamentals as people realise that this announcment is another tick in the box on the road to FDA approval.
