Eight patients participated in a study wherein each received either one or two doses of allogeneic bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells produced by Stemedica Cell Technologies.The first set of patients received one dose of 100 million cells while the second set received two doses of 50 million cells.Within 24-48 hours of being treated, all patients had reduced oxygen requirements.
