For your suggestion to be true, then Mesoblast must allready know the results - which is false.

Obviously the additional sites are joining because australia has finally had a big enough outbreak such that maybe some people may actually sign up to the trial. Look at the US. Millions of cases and we struggle to recruit 300 people. I think with less than 100 deaths in total in Aus, we would get nobody sign up which is why no trial in Aus.

That and it's sponsored by the NIH..... why would they pay for an australian trial arm when thousands are dying in the USA?
