If anyone thinks that MSB have ‘needed’ to add Australian hospitals to the NIH sponsored Phase 3 trial being run in the USA because recruiting is slowing or opportunities are drying up, you would be wrong. If this was the case MSB would have added European countries.
You need to pause and think deeper about this announcement. It is a very important and strategic building block in the bigger picture. MSB now have a validated foothold front and centre in the Australian medical system and in front of government eyes for Covid-ARDS and beyond.
