That was my initial take on the announcement. Then I convinced myself that they wanted to get more patients enrolled quicker to assist with getting higher numbers for overall efficacy to shut up any doubters saying “ ah yes, but there were only x number of patients, the figure is too small”.
Wait for the barrage of abuse aimed at the company when the interim results aren’t released forthwith. I may be wrong, but I don’t expect the interim results before mid Sept.
