There's a thing that's become increasingly trendy over the last century or so called automation.

It's looked favourably upon by many due to it's function whereby a task that can be completed by a human is instead carried out by a programmable machine.

This reduces cost and risk whilst simultaneously increasing output, consistency and adaptability.

There's another thing called artificial intelligence that's been around for a while, but has become monumentally trendy lately, which can be employed think and solve problems.

Machines can now learn and improve on the efficiencies originally offered by their automation.

Apparently automation and artificial intelligence are accelerating progress in many fields and even replacing people in various roles and tasks.

It's figuratively rocket surgery!
