It isn't specific on whether that interest rate has changed - maybe that was the existing agreed interest rate. The key part of the amendment seems to be that EMN don't have to actually pay the interest starting January 2025, instead the interest amounts will be added to the convertible loan. On the plus side, it means they won't be shelling out significant amounts of cash per year for that. The downside is that they will now be paying interest on those additional amounts added to the convertible loan.
