A quick bit of research and it appears the heat spreader is placed in contact with a Heat Sink. This allows an even spread through the heat sink. Heat Sinks still required. In Combination with GCM,s Graphite Sinks surely would be "ground breaking" in thermal diffusity and Conductivity. All IMO.
