These patents are quite important if CLTX actually works, because 'copy-cats' will be looking to replicate in regions where the IP is not yet protected.
This also increases the value of the asset if it is partnered or sold to a large-pharma.. the more markets CLTX can be sold into will exponentially increase the value attributed to CLTX.
It's a little early for partners to be seriously taking a look at us now, but for an asset in such an early stage clinical trial.. it has featured in many publications and details of the trial have already been shared at conferences / webcasts such as ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) on various occasions. So awareness is probably already quite high, but if there is data to support the potential of CLTX .. then that awareness will grow rapidly given the already strong platform laid by City of Hope and Christine Brown in the years leading up to CHM licensing it.
