@@618 you're spot on - there are some brilliant advisors around and i don't mean to rubbish the good ones.
And when it comes to established businesses with operating cashflows, there are many people out there with the requisite skills to assess value. Assessing value in the emerging resource co space is a lot more difficult.
I saw what was going on in the resource space and decided to supplement my technical learning with finance learning. That was the eye opener for me.
