Yes tax time is simpler with AFI. I hold this and VAS so have to wait for the ETF statement at tax time anyway. I'm debating which holding to increase going forward.
I am a fan of AFI as I like to believe that human thinking and value-seeking can beat an automated system, but the numbers don't support this idea.
