This report puts me more at ease with the management. I was worried that they had abandoned the donations project in the US as that still has the potential to be a large revenue earner. It is satisfying to know that they haven't, but have recognised the time & financial commitment required to see it through. Rather than rely on continual CRs (re: Pushpay) they have thought outside the square to create a separate revenue stream that will allow the donation project (now with help from others) to continue without continual CRs. If they can pull this off we will be praising them in the future.
