re: Ann: EVG commences construction on Las La... When I see ASX listed companies AGD and TON (argentina)looking at projects with gold tailings grading under 1 gram a ton compared with EVGs plus 3 grams a ton tailings I feel a little smug owning EVG shares, but yes there are other factors apart from grade to look at ie metallurgy and bond index of the tailings.
Because of grade I doubt there is any perceived discount for hedging half of production and if I was BJ I would be locking in half at current POG after all the OPEX is only around $400 an ounce just a little safety margin there!
