I have to admit, if an investor invests based on fundamentals and a company enters into production & cashflow but they choose to sell because it's closer to tax time. Are they really an investor?
Traders don't need to sell as they can claim inventory loss on their holdings.
Buy volume just isn't there which presumably is the reason why swing traders are exiting their positions.
If an "investor" is selling at this point, even if they are at a loss, they must know something the market doesn't know, or, they just aren't the investor they think they are.
