Got some at 9.2c today. Just a sh1ts and giggles parcel with 80k units to get me started.
Mt Carlton is a good mine. EVN which is a cornerstone of my portfolio for the last 7+ years have sadly neglected Mt Carlton in favour of the larger assets like Cowal, Ernest Henry, Mungari, and Red Lake. Rightly so if I may add, the ROC on these larger mines are far more favourable. But tell you what... EVN would not be a mining juggernaut that it is today without Mt Carlton as a cornerstone asset whose cashflow propelled EVN to what it is today. A little TLC and Mt Carlton will be back to its production profile sooner than most think.
Lets see if NML can turn Mt Carlton around in the next 12-18 months. Crush creek is a new satellite to Mt Carlton purchased not long ago and will have near term feed for the plant. And with NML in EVNs stables this gives EVN its much needed Vic goldfields diversification. Win win for both parties.
