According to 321gold.com most of the shorts in the Gold contract have now been closed out , and short interest is about at the two year average base line.
This leaves the momentum traders piling into Gold ETFs as the ones who are going to buy the Gold off the long Gold contract holders. Thousands of small players in unison, adding up to a large buying position.
Unbelievable but true.
