Have been taking a position here the last month or so, grabbed some more today too.
EVS seems like an incredible opportunity to own a part of the ESG process as a SaaS company moving forward.
$190mill market cap offers plenty of upside in the near future with its $46.5mill ARR, global reach and the ever growing efficiencies, or inefficiencies in that matter, of a sustainable future. I am incredibly happy that EVS have shown remarkably low churn rates and I'd expect they are well placed to capitalise on upsell and cross-sell opportunities across all sectors. As a first mover advantage in this space, the market seems to still undervalue the capital outlay for the software EVS has.
The FY21 report was an outline on growing Gross Profit margins - but the company has been expanding its reach exponentially so its fair enough to operate at a loss for a relatively new software company.
With the portfolio currently having an average contractual life of 2.25 years it gives reasonable maturity for little risk.
The top 20 shareholders hold 50% of SOI which is fairly average across the moderate sized companies.
Although not concerned with their operating cash flow, $17.6mill cash at bank and $11.5mill cash receivables leaves me pretty content that any growth opportunities management find can be capitalised on, while also operating at the best interests of shareholders.
The announcement today was the final piece of the puzzle to order some more, as it confirms the viability of the EVS water suite which would have contributed to the operating expenses in FY21 whilst it started up. I'd expect that FY22 is a very bright year for EVS.
Good luck holders.
