Ah shorts are at .19% so less than a fifth of 1% so no one’s game
to seriously short this company. Turnover of 1.5 million shares out
of a total pool of 1.2 billion shares is equally bugger all like the shorts.
If you wanted to pick up a million shares at market today the price
would quickly head to 21.5 cents today so short sightedness could
catch the market unawares. Basically there’s few buyers currently but
not a lot of serious sellers in numbers either. A good result sooner or
later will change that. Half yearly results out on the 24th or 25th of
this month so perhaps we’ll get an update on any further sales and
how the one cloud platform is tracking with any luck. Headwinds will
be US interest rates but we’re relatively immune to that with extremely
low borrowings. Techs like SZL, Z1P, etc have been belted recently with
large negative earnings and Z1P has huge debt. Different companies but
there’s been a lot of hype with these companies previously and their SP
prices previously rocketed and are continuing to correct downwards. I hope
EVS is much closer to profitability than what the aforementioned are likely
to be. It’s easy to get a little despondent watching the SP tracking up and
then retracing but sooner or later decent news will move this one northwards.
I don’t think I know of anyone on a personal basis that would ever have heard
this company’s name. Sooner or later that will likely change when the market
punters eventually discover this gem. Hopefully by then the SP will be hovering
around a $…..and people like us who got in early are doing nicely for ourselves.
