Looks like a clever way to access retailers who are already signed up with eWAY.
"The partnership will see the roll out of the zipPay and zipMoney ’buy now, pay later‘ digital wallets as core offerings for tens of thousands of online retailers in Australia and millions of Australian shoppers."
This would mean that ZML does not (necessarily) have to set up agreements with each retailer. Thus, giving greater leverage and efficiency to market.
On eWAY's website, it lists ZIP as a partner. It mentions that ZIP is interested in accessing global customers through eWAY.
