During 2006,EWC was involved in a similar case, when El Paso ‘sold’ its 47.5% holdings inthe Sengkang power plant to a third party without providing EWC with its optionre: ROFR. Protracted negotiations ensued (mediation and Federal Court) and, on15 September, 2006, EWC was able to purchase El Paso’s 47.5% interest in theSengkang power plant.
