The interesting thing for me from the presentation, was the length of time it takes to get all the environmental approvals, which is probably going to be a year, and then the fact that it has to go before parliament for approval, surely the minister can just sign it off after the year long environmental. I can see why the timelines have blown out from 2024 to 2026, and why the market would react to this. PLL would also be disappointed, because they wanted to ore faster. Another interesting point was that the Ghana government doesn't want the company doing DSO, but we don't get an explanation why. Almost all other countries permit DSO without any problems. So the company put a spin on this setback by hyping a "higher value product", but it just didn't wash. DSO would have been easy, but now they have to take the "modular" route and it's additional expense, but it looks like they've found some disused modular units and now they have to ship them to Ghana. Is the Ghana government deliberately putting things in the way of accelerating the probject? Does the Ghana government want a Lithium mine at all? I don't know what the government is playing at here, but I smell something unusual, and that often means problematic issues going forward. These guys will probably get there, but I wouldn't expect full production until 2027, and there is going to be a more companies on-market before then, and the big ones will have doubled their output before then as well. Timing is everything, and these guys are getting delays now. It's going to be a long environmental year for them, waiting for a ministerial signature and for parliament to discuss and then ratify the project. The investor needs patience here, which many don't have, hence the stock price fall.
