good question, the waste mining cost will take a chunk out of the resource in any pit optimisation, let alone what ever the actual recoveries from leaching are and the combined deleterious elements in that solution, coupled with the cost of extracting the REE from that solution. Seeing those results will provide more confidence that this can make money, met work with acids and clays is often variable across deposits, remember the nickel laterites.
