So to put these test conditions into perspective, Aclara's Carina clay project uses 35% solids and a 0.5 hour leach at pH 4. Their study CAPEX two months ago for a 10 mtpa project was >A$800m.
OD6 are using 4% solids at a 24-hour leach. So 420 times larger leach tanks for the same clay throughput. On top of that they are using pH 0 with chlorides. The CAPEX on this project would be insanely high, like in the multiple billions..
