    Most definitely. In fact they could be very taxable with their often large percentage gains, and, rarely, holding them for more than 12 months.. Yet, I can ALWAYS call on my inevitable Capital LOSS offsets to mitigate the damage though!!!!! Sorry about that.
    No, I never invest or trade with tax as an object. If I have a gain, I'm more than happy to pay the tax. If I have a loss, I'm even happier that it can always be a 100% offset, even if it's less than 12 months. It reduces my losses by 30%. Interesting that isn't it??
    I'm gearing up for a scary CGT with my STKOAs, big time, my others will need to go very poorly to help me avoid a big bill I reckon. Oppies can go up hundreds of percents compared to the shares. Bring it on!!!!!
