According to Dave in the Explorers Podcast, the goal posts keep changing (test work conditions for DSO treatment, Maiden Resource estimate upsizing, PEA assumptions) because they keep finding more ore at Storm!!!! Which is surely a good thing because they are not at the edge of the orebody yet. Still drilling within its mineralogical perimeter.
All the resource details to be released in the Maiden JORC resource for Storm are open-pit minable or simple quarry style mining!!!! Hence, shallow and close to the surface copper and silver ore zones for easy mining.
Thunder and Lightning Ridge prospect tonnes and grades are not included in the maiden resource. They don't have enough infill and follow-up drilling to allow confident estimation of their resource potential. Next year's (2024) drilling will provide this information.
