In my opinion COB have a number of problems at the moment.
- C1 Cost of production is high and they do not have by product credits to reduce opex cost.
- The plant build is costly considering the mine life of 12 years.- The resource is too small having maximum 12 years of production from existing tenements, it would be prudent to JV or buyout AUZ Thackaranga. AUZ are adopting a wait and see attitude, perhaps opportunistically waiting.
