I think this is an exaggeration as there are 1000s of uses for Lithium besides just EVs and more uses being developed everyday.
The 2nd hand batteries market is yet to boom, more and more vehicles of different sizes , planes, electrical appliances, drones, computers are manufactured constantly around the clock.
There's no way in my opinion that the world has an over abundance of Lithium and it's just sitting there doing nothing waiting to be used.

Somebody is making money or benefitting from this nonsense and BS to the world.

It's a pity that the market does not agree! Ofcourse the Chinese would not be distorting the market would
they. No never! LOL. Reality will return to the market eventually and it may happen sooner than we expect.
