I don't know why investors pay attention to the resource EV / Oz, the cost to extract the gold from Mine A or Mine B can vary greatly.
A small oz shallow free-milling gold deposition is likely more valuable than a large oz deep refractory gold deposit due to the cost to produce the gold.
