For those that missed it @SugeKnight ‘s post on another thread https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/78500751/single provided a balanced assessment of yesterday’s announcement and an insight to CRS’s culture.

Bury the dud results and highlight previously reported favourable results on page 1. For me it speaks volumes of the culture at CRS.

@eastwest101. For holders who haven’t already, might be worth doing some dd on the BOD, starting with the Non Executive Chairman, Glenn Whiddon.
He’s also currently listed as a director of Calima Energy (formerly ASX:CE1and now de-listed), ASX:ANL, ASX:CRB & ASX:MRR. Even a cursory appraisal of HC threads of these Co’s will reveal a common theme of SH’s less than favourable … to put it mildly … views on management performance.

Whiddon’s tenure over the last three years as MD, Chairman or Director (all 3 at CE1) at each company was marked by promise, but all experienced reversals that resulted in the destruction of well in excess of $100M of shareholder value. It wasn’t just the outcome, it was the manner it which it played out at all four companies that left a sour taste.

The announcement on the 12th February certainly got my attention, but potentially great assets require management with a proven track record to succeed. The four out of four $#!t shows that are CE1,ANL, CRB & MRR are not the track record you want here and Whiddon’s involvement here was enough of deterrent to give this a miss.

@rockofgib well played, I think you’ll sleep better at night, as all the shennanigans playing out here have a all too familiar ring IMHO. Of course I could be entirely wrong with my view of SH propects here, as great drilling results, a rising POG and heightened M&A activity will raise all boats.
