in my opinion they will probably wait until the lab results for kimberlite composition comes back to model the kimberlite structure before running any pitting material through the plant. These lab results will help determine the types of kimberlite present for modelling but will unlikely confirm if the pipe is diamondiferous. Once these results come in then I imagine a week or two assuming diamonds are present in the first batches processed through the plant (if they are lucky) otherwise a month or more if it's hit and miss.

For determining if it's economical they will need a drill rig onsite first and then it's likely to be a couple months to drill and wait for assay results. Of which its likely that 30c lomos would have been on the market for a while and hnwi would have been allocated their stock and 20c options. Who knows though what they have been doing. They may Be already processing some of the kimberlite.
