I don't think it's that simple, but I do think some players could do very well (but to be honest, I'm really not sure which ones, but yeah maybe all of them).
All of these hopefuls need to show clearer pricing and how the customer relationships work. VRX latest presentation uses data that is 2 years old, which I find surprising. I must say, the high grade deposits I find quite interesting though.
What I'm not understanding, is that none of the sand miners in WA mine for silica, yet it's a byproduct from their TiO2 / Zircon operations. Tronox/Cristal, Iluka, Image, SFX, Doral. Then you have many other privately owned companies plus the likes of the cement manufacturers, who use huge amounts of silica, but don't appear to sell it separately. If this market is as big as everyone says it will be, why haven't these guys moved on it?
