We just need to be careful we are not getting sucked in by a comment made by a Mac analyst re WE FID, yes a reasonable chance it may be delayed or even not go ahead, but FID isnt due to late in the year and also after SE FID on STX's timeline. Still may proceed as expected. Gina wont be building two plants. WE is proposed to be built by AGIG, the FID decision is to commit to supplying the plant and build upstream connecting infrastructure, minimal spend in the scheme of things. Approvals are years ahead of any new proposals. There could be numerous topics of discussions between JV partners, sale of WE, size/scale of plant being built by AGIG, toll fees, export arrangements, finance, methodology, contractors utilised for upstream infrastructure after Beach/Mitsui issues, etc etc... we don't know. SN will.
Not saying anyone is wrong but remember who started these rumours and after reading their reports I don't trust them one bit, and wouldnt be if they are taking advantage of the low share price.
My question is, if it is delayed indefinitely to extort STX, what measures are in place with the JV agreement to resolve, mediate or allow STX as operator to proceed, self fund and recoup partners supposed costs via initial sales?
