You need to look again at the Ann and some of the posts there after. There is not issue with the SOP quantity or recovery. MOP is not used in the recovery process. They can recover all the SOP they require with some to spare. They are trucking in MOP to to make use of otherwise empty trucks which they have to pay for in both directions and the MOP to SOP makes use of the Sulfate already in the brine that would otherwise be discarded. That I would of thought its a good use of money , not paying for empty trucks, a good use of an otherwise discarded material, sulfate, and as a result you increase end target product increasing effective production utilising two origins.
