Deansy, not to be antagonistic or dispute your bullishness - I'm holding & I like IOH long term very much...
But...How will fund managers get a stake?
51% of stock is off the table in the hands of Stokes. Then we have the accumulated holdings of the top 20, company directors etc.
On the one hand, a tight register is good for the reasons you point out, but on the other hand - a fund manager might look at this and think "If I can't get over $1 million worth of stock, it's not really worth the punt".
So, in the absence of a big buyer wanting big chunks, we can't release the full value of IOH until they do a sales deal of some description with a bigger player or there is a takeover offer. This might be some time away.
IMHO this might be holding the share price back for now... But I might be wrong.
